For each attraction we have given pricing information and opening times, which will hopefully guide you to the best attractions. You can also look through the recommendations from the other guests, as well as adding your own. Below are some of the activities that may be available during your stay. FRENCH MARKETS - - There are many historic towns all of which have a market at least once a week - these traditional French markets sell local vegetables, fish, meat, cheeses, clothes and bric-a-brac, some even sell live animals.
- The market in Dinan is held Thursday mornings. "Vide Greniers" are like large car boot sales and often occur at weekends.
BRITTANY BEACHES - - There are too many to list - from secluded sandy bays where you may not see a soul, to cosmopolitan towns with restaurants, ice creams, sandwiches and activities along the prom, to sporting beaches with surfing, sailing, sand yachting and paragliding.
ACTIVITY ATTRACTIONS - - Zoos - La Bourbansais which is 15 minute drive from Dinan.
- Chateaux and gardens.
- La Maison de la Rance located at the Port of Dinan helps one understand the flora and fauna of Dinan and the Rance river.

- Childrens Fun Park - Cobac Parc - a pleasure park with 30 attractions on 12 hectares, located about 25 minutes drive from Dinan. http://www.cobac-parc.com/
- Mont St Michel - Picturesque 9th Century abbey set atop a rock rising out of the sand. This is a very busy destination in the summer, but a classic tourist spot.
- Alligator Bay - Reptilarium a 5 minute drive from Mont St. Michel. http://www.alligator-bay.com/
- Chateau de la Hunaudaye - an 800 year old medieval castle with expositions and children's workshops. http://www.la-hunaudaye.com/
- Disneyland, Paris - if you fancy a visit you can drive to Disneyland in 3.5 hours, or take the TGV from Rennes in 2 hours 20 mins, or from St. Malo in 2 hours 50 mins.

- Cycling - Along the Rance is a beautiful experience. For the more adventurous there are routes which can take you further afield, to Dinard or St. Malo.
- Restaurants - Numerous high quality restaurants in Dinan, catering for most tastes, ranging from traditional French cuisine, seafood, Pizzas, Chinese and Indian restaurants.
